-His career started on Broadway in 1958 at the Cort Theater which was later renamed after him in 2022 “The James Earl Jones Theater” which is located in NYC. He also overcame a stutter as a child.
James Earl Jones Credits include : The voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars , The voice of Mufasa in the original animated Lion King in 1994 and sequel in 1994 and the 2019 remake, Patriot Games film 1992, Coming to America 1988 and Coming to America 2 in 2021, in 3 Jack Ryan movies in the 1990s. Played him self in the CBS Comedy the Big Bang Theory , he was in nearly 200 Film and TV credits combined.
Jones was first Married to actress-singer Julienne Marie. His 2nd wife of 34 years actress Cecilia Hart died in 2016. He is survived by his son Flynn Earl Jones.
